We are very pleased to announce that we have placed the design and engineering of our rides, their safety and the management of our technical department
in the
responsible hands of our longtime employee, Mr. Karoly Kesztyüs. His early occupation as a European welding and construction engineer has made him a very valuable part of our company. Maurer Rides invests millions in the production department
Starting in 2012, Maurer Söhne is investing millions in its site in Munich, Germany for the production division of Amusement Rides in order to meet the requirements and challenges of our international customers and markets. Based on the very high current level
of product quality, production innova- tions, automation and application of the most modern testing technologies, Maurer will raise production efficiency and product quality to its highest level. Maurer plans to increase process flex- ibility and lower production time by
employing intelligent equipment and optimizing material flow. In addition to these investments, our well edu- cated and highly motivated manufac- turing employees make sure that our innovative products
justifiably earn the quality seal “Made in Germany”. B2B RUN: FORCES IN MOTION
Maurer has provided outstanding core capabilities through the entire supply chain in order to develop and implement successful and innova- tive approaches,
technologies and
products. Innovations are essen- tial for the future of every company allowing a competitive edge and access to new markets and market segments. It’s delightful to be cre- ative, to work with innovative sub- jects and to discuss innovations with businesses and development part- ners. Innovations are investments in the future which are sometimes con- nected with very high costs. These
costs must be financed through our business operations. That is why the protection of innovations and know how is very significant. Not all com- panies and countries respect the intellectual property of others and in spite of IAAPA’s positive initiative; the cycles of plagiarism are becom- ing shorter. We have decided that in the future, we shall report about our new innovations in the X-Press only after a successful installation.
We thank you for
your undertanding. R. Reifferscheidt
From the office desk chair and into the running shoes - that was this year’s motto for the B2RUN company run in Munich. 2012 marks the 5th year of the Maurer Racing Team’s participa- tion in the B2RUN company run. The 30.000 runners that participate annu- ally are not just health orientated. A part of the starting fees go to Munich charity organizations which support diverse elementary schools in Munich. The skies were clear and blue on Thurs- day July 18th and temperatures were perfect for a 6.2 km run. Most of the runners on the Maurer
Racing Team have run every race dur- ing the last 5 years. When asked about their motivation the answer is very clear and almost always the same, “It’s simply the team spirit that makes the run worthwhile”.
The Tegernsee Run on Sunday, Septem- ber 23rd was more demanding for the team. The 10 km and 21,1 km course although leading around one of Bavar- ia’s most beautiful lakes, has hilly seg-
ments towards the end demanding a last surge of energy from each runner. As always, this team was ready to race and finished the run with peak perfor- mances.
