In Polly Pocket, Polly’s Wall Party takes play from the floor to the wall.


Disney Princess The Disney Princess Rapunzel range introduces Colour Change Brush Rapunzel and Disney Princess Royal Castle. Password Journal also remains in the spotlight.


Barbie


Spring sees the introduction of Barbie Colour Stylin’ Salon. Barbie’s new abode for spring is the Glam Vacation House. Barbie Swim and Race Pups bring a new addition to the popular pet play. February sees the release of Barbie in the Pink Shoes with the popular ballet


HASBRO


Angry Birds Star Wars Hasbro has teamed up with LucasFilm to create a variety of products based on the newly launched Star Wars edition of the popular Angry Birds mobile game from Rovio. The line will launch globally from November. Hasbro will introduce the line with


several new toys based on the property including the AT-AT Attack Battle Game. The line will also feature new products based on a variety of existing Hasbro properties including Jenga and the recently re-launched KOOSH. “We’ve developed a selection of


innovative toys and games featuring Angry Birds Star Wars that delivers new ways to play for fans of these two great franchises,” says Foye Pascoe, General Manager, UK, Ireland & Nordics. “We’re proud of our heritage of


delivering Star Wars toys that have entertained generations of kids and we’re excited to offer fans of both Star Wars and Angry the opportunity to experience their favourite characters and icons in exhilarating new ways.”


KRE-O Hasbro is expanding the KRE-O Transformers portfolio in 2013 with the launch of the KRE-O Transformers Kreon Microchangers. Each Transformers Kreon


Microchangers character features a robot that can be built and then rebuilt into their alternate mode. For a completely new and never-been- done before building experience, the Kreon Microchangers have 2-in-1 capabilities. Taking cues from classic Transformers


lore, the Kreon Microchangers Combiners sets are being introduced for the first time into the world of KRE-O products. Taking the Kreon figure multiple builds to the next level, each set contains four Transformers Kreons robot figures that can be built and then rebuilt into their alternative mode, or combined to form one larger super robot. There will be four sets available at launch and each will come with approximately 75 pieces.


NOVEMBER 2012


Hot Wheels Boys will now be able to extend the fun with Team Hot Wheels Vertical Velocity. The core die-cast car line continues, while a new addition to Wall Tracks is the Auto-Motion Speedway. Transforming daredevil ball cars Ballistiks will also launch. Matchbox celebrates its 60th anniversary with a


Max Steel


2013 sees Mattel launching Max Steel. The new kids show follows the adventures of teenager Maxwell McGrath and his out-of-this-world friend Steel.


Superman Mattel’s range of toys include the Man of Steel Flight Speeders Launchers Assortment plus a new play-set, Man of Steel Flight Speeders Fortress of Solitude. Another vehicle, Quick Shots Battle for Metropolis, is also in the range.


Batman


Mattel will continue to add to its portfolio, from the Imaginext Batcave to Power Attack Mission Figures and Batmobile plus action figures, vehicles and accessories.


Cars


New introductions include the Dinoco Stunt Set and Stunt Racer Vehicle assortment. Micro Drifters also has new single blind bags plus a trackset.

Imaginext has new additions in the


medieval world; new Dinosaurs enter the Dino Tech range; while DC Superfriends & Modern continue. 2013 sees the continued roll out of


the Thomas & Friends collection, while Mickey Mouse Club House Minnie Mouse will be bolstered. Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Octonauts and Dora the Explorer will also be backed.
