IT’S… A new matrix for HDMI that combines switching among eight high-definition sources and eight HDTV displays with RJ-45 signal extension built into the same, rack-mountable frame.

DETAILS: The new collection consists of high-quality AV stands and cabinets made from a mix of stainless steel, toughened safety glass and MDF lacquered melaminised particle board structures. The units are pre- assembled for quick and easy installation and come with a cable management system as standard. Smooth rotation is included in the pieces and they have concealed castors as well as ‘silent stop’ drawers.

Extension of 1080p Full HD with multichannel audio and 3DTV pass-through over a single Cat5 cable is achieved using Gefen’s ELR technology, which is based on HDBaseT. Bidirectional IR is extended over the same cable along with POL (Power Over Line) technology, which
eliminates the need to power each receiver unit. Bidirectional IR allows long- distance control of the sources through each receiver. All eight receivers have a small footprint and come in a wall-mountable
enclosure that can be placed discreetly behind the display for better aesthetics.
AND ALSO: Front panel push buttons, RS232, web IP and IR are all provided for switching, automation and
control. The front panel LCD provides up-to-date routing, EDID and other relevant information.

DETAILS: The DA6 is a high- output, full-range architectural surface-mount loudspeaker with a sconce- like form factor and contemporary styling designed to complement the most upscale environments including restaurants, resorts, hotel lobbies and ballrooms, and retail establishments. The DA6 offers a 115º cone-shaped coverage pattern that emanates from the face of the loudspeaker downwards at a 26º angle from the wall. The two-way, 6.5in surface mount unit integrates Community’s patented Carbon Ring Cone Technology, delivering uniform voicing and consistent coverage from zone to zone when combined
with other Distributed Design Series ceiling, surface mount and pendant loudspeakers, including the D10SUB ceiling mount and DS8SUB surface mount subwoofers. The new speaker’s true
coaxial design achieves high sensitivity and low distortion thanks to the implementation of separate, discrete magnets for its LF and HF drivers. A built-in autoformer offers selectable 70V or 100V operation in a distributed system, as well as standard 8 ohm use.
