All Eastern undergraduates take science and math courses as part of their liberal arts education.
Peer tutors provide one-on-one support in writing, mathematics and specifi c disciplines in the Academic Services Center, conveniently located in the library.

The Academic Services Center, located in the J. Eugene Smith Library, is a one-stop location for
tutoring, math and writing support, and professional advising.
Other on-campus support services include the Offi ce of AccessAbility Services, which serves students with documented disabilities; the Women’s Center; the Intercultural Center; the Pride Room; and the VETS Center, which meets the educational and transitional needs of military veterans at Eastern.
With a 16:1 student-to-faculty ratio, Eastern students receive personalized attention.
