I might be making a bit of a controversial statement here, but I think the retail industry might never have been as exciting as it is today. Feel free to prove me wrong, but I believe that the way technology is being used to enhance the customer experience and make life easier for the retailer is creating a world of opportunity for the industry. Not only can technology be used to create that ‘wow’ factor instore, investing in timesaving technology also allows retailers more time to spend engaging with their customers, helping to build valuable relationships. We’ve explored the world of retail technology in this month’s magazine, so make sure you take a look at the article if you’re interested in the debate!
