A Day in the Life of...

I’m an early starter, so first thing I do when I get to the office is make myself a large cup of tea to get me going. I find this is the best way to ease myself into the day ahead. Our office is a great environment, with

a perfectly formed team of seven. We all work on different aspects of the business, with people who draw stuff, people who do stuff and people who count stuff, but we’re all one at the end of the day. We sit around a lovely big table in the centre of the office and we’re always chatting away and supporting each other to ensure we get the most out of our time. We have the radio on to provide a bit of atmosphere, and during the Olympics we’ve also had the TV on to make sure we don’t miss out on the excitement! Every member of the team is vital to what we do as a company, and we have a

great time together. Earlier this year we went to Thorpe Park for the day just to spend some time out of the office as a team, which was a great chance to let off steam and have a fun day out together. Working on any project is a really

indepth process; after the initial briefing we tend to brainstorm ideas and then create a series of sketches to decide on the perfect design. We then cost the project

and create a prototype before sourcing and manufacturing our design. When a project is being installed, communication is key to ensure that everything goes to plan. Luckily, one of the best aspects of my day is getting the opportunity to speak to clients and manufacturers to ensure that projects are going smoothly. It’s great to be able to touch base and check that everyone is happy and everything is going
