Mary Cellucci deVeer ’75 of Hilton Head Island, SC, died February 7, 2011, of cancer. A French major, she worked as an investment banker. She is survived by husband Robert and a daughter. William Carlin ’77 of Novato, CA, died


July 9, 2011. He received a nursing degree from Hudson Valley Community College and a physician’s assistant degree from Stanford University. He found great satis- faction in his service as a US Army medic in Europe. A gifted guitarist, singer, song- writer, poet, and humorist, he entertained in coffeehouses and pubs in the late 1970s and early ’80s in Saratoga. He also loved to ride his motorcycle in both New York and California. He is survived by a son and a daughter. Neal Rorke ’78 of Southport, CT, died


June 19. An English major, he worked in film and TV production, including for the show “Law & Order.” His lifelong pursuit of physical fitness led him to employ- ment with Cannondale Bicycle and Spyn - ergy. A triathlete, he also ran in more than 20 marathons. He loved being out- doors with his family and canine com-


panions, and he joyously stayed home to raise his children. He leaves wife Alexis, a daughter, a son, two sisters including Lorraine Rorke Bader ’67, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews. Diane Cahn ’78 of Englewood, NJ, died January 22 of breast cancer. A government major, she went on to the Univer sity of New Hampshire School of Law and re - ceived a JD from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1981. She is survived by her father. Carin Routh ’79 of North Salem, NY,


died May 11 of cancer. She was a business management major. She was an avid sailor and golfer who loved the outdoors in all seasons; she especially loved her family and dogs. She leaves life partner Steven Johnson, three brothers, two sis- ters, including Maria Routh Terry ’82, a niece, and four nephews. Kevin Crosbie ’82 of Chestnut Hill, CT,


died April 16 of a heart attack. An English major, he was the publisher of the daily Chronicle of Willimantic, CT. The newspa- per was started by his family in 1877. He succeeded his mother as publisher in 1992 and while at the helm of the Chroni cle, he was also president of the Connecticut Daily Newspapers Association and a mem- ber of the New England Newspaper As -


soci ation. He is survived by a brother. Maura Tucker ’85 of El Cerrito, CA,


died May 1 of cancer. A theater major, she earned an MDiv from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley and an MA in edu- cational therapy from Holy Names Uni - ver sity. She worked in theological and ele- mentary education for more than 20 years. At the time of her death she was director of contextual education at Pacific School of Religion. Some of her early work as an actress and cook, and her life- long career as a social activist, inspired many who learned from her. She leaves spouse Patty Contaxis, a daughter, a sister and three brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
