esigned to match the company’s Invicta 3 range of panel and TP&N boards, it is one of the few available with a glazed door.
This allows an
‘ordinary person’ as defined by the 17th Edition to view the board while the door is locked. A ‘skilled’ or ‘instructed person, can then access the board with a key. There is also plenty of wiring space and the position and design of the earth and neutral bars allows easier wiring – an important feature for fitting RCBOs, which are longer then MCBs. The neutral and terminal bars will accept up to
25mm2 incoming and 16mm2 outgoing cable. The new range is available in four sizes; a 14 way board with a 100A incomer, a 10 way split load board with 100A switch disconnector and 63A 30mA RCCB, and two dual row boards with 20 and 28 module outgoing ways.
All of the boards have a number of knockouts allowing cable entry or exit on all sides and from the back. A number of DIN rail enclosures are also available for control devices.

alluff have expanded their portfolio of magnetic cylinder sensors for pneumatic cylinders by introducing the BMF255 an ATEX ( Zone 0/20 category 1G/1D ) version enabling the sensor to be used in areas with continuous, long-term and frequent occurrences of dust, gases and vapours. Fitting the sensor could not be easier, on the widely used ‘T’ Slot cylinders they can be inserted from above using the a stainless steel secure hold clamping screw, the clamp being situated at the cable end of the sensor helping to prevent any snagging of the cable lifting the sensor out of the slot. The switching function is Namur normally open, there is an LED function indicator and the switch has a protection standard of IP67. The overall length is only 25mm making it ideal for short stroke cylinders, the 6-metre long integral cable enables the user a quick and easy connection. Balluff can also supply the isolating amplifier for connection outside of the ATEX zone.
