SIMON BEAN


ATPI Group has appointed Simon Bean as a general manager for UK business. Before joining ATPI as general manager for the group’s London office, he spent ten years in managerial roles at Air New Zealand. Bean has also held


positions at South West Trains and Brussels Airlines.


HERVÉ COUTURIER Hervé Couturier has been appointed as executive


vice-president of development at Amadeus. Couturier has 25 years of international software development


experience, and he has worked for companies including SAP, IBM and Business Objects.


ANDI PARGETER


Oxford Airport has appointed Andi Pargeter as managing


director. She had been the airport’s head of finance since 2010, and for the last six months had been working in group finance for the airport’s owners, the Reuben


Brothers. She previously worked at Capita and First Group.


MATTHEW WOOD


Gatwick Airport has appointed Matthew Wood as head of airline relations. Previously, he was head of network development and scheduling for Wizz Air. Wood’s earlier roles include head of


network and fleet development for Spanair, and airline development manager for Easyjet.


JOHN KELLY


John Kelly has been appointed as director of sales and account management at Cievents. He joins from Melia Hotels International where he was director of MICE global sales for UK, Ireland and Scandinavia for two years. Prior to that he was head of marketing at Zibrant from 2005 to 2010.


ERIC JELINEK


Eric Jelinek has been appointed as regional general manager for the UK and Ireland at Qantas Airways. For the last four years, he has been head of inflight services for the company. Jelinek has


previously held senior commercial, customer and operational roles in Qantas and British Airways.


NICOLE O’CONNOR SACO has appointed Nicole O’Connor as network partner manager. She joins the serviced apartment company after


spending 11 years with specialist tour operator VFB, part of the Travel Zest group, where she managed the company’s international hotel portfolio.


JUSTIN FITZGERALD


Justin Fitzgerald has been appointed as account director – business travel Europe, at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. He was


previously corporate sales manager for Guoman & Thistle Hotels.


Fitzgerald’s 20 years in the industry include roles with US Airways, Worldspan and American Express.


ALEXANDRA FITZPATRICK Travelport has appointed Alexandra Fitzpatrick as general manager for the Pacific region. Prior to her promotion, she was the director for TMS Travel Management Solutions and director of distributor sales for Galileo. Fitzpatrick has also had previous roles at Sabre and IATA.


BILL WALSHE Viceroy Hotel Group has appointed Bill Walshe as the company’s chief executive officer. Walshe has 20 years of hospitality industry experience, and was previously CEO of The Doyle Collection, and chief marketing officer for the Jumeirah Group in Dubai.


DEBORAH GREEN Deborah Green has been appointed as director of MICE sales for the Apex Hotels Group. She was previously event sales manager at the De Vere hotel in Blackpool. Former roles include joining Q Hotels as sales executive in 2006, later promoted to agency field sales manager.


JILL PALMER Click Travel has appointed Jill Palmer as operations director. Prior to this she was owner- director of management, legal and HR consultancy Pro Leader, and has previously worked as customer operations director at Mercedes-Benz UK and head of legal at Lafarge UK.
