Trend Direction Marine Dreams is inspired by the beauty of aquatic and amphibian life, contrasted with the drama, decadence and fantasy of a luxury lifestyle for Spring/Summer 2013.
Materials for men and women share the use of luxuriant marine leathers, shimmering python-esque smooth or scaly surfaces and high-shine plastics. This is contrasted with the soft, matt textures of deep dyed suede, and flashes of exotic iridescent foil.

Shapes for women are exotic and complex, laced and strappy with the highest of heels. For men, a colourful, decadent and devil-may-care attitude prevails.
Colour - this new trend uses a magnified hyper-colour palette of greens and blues, marrying these with earthy tones and injected with a final flash of vibrant pink.
Key words: Luxurious, decadent, strappy, magnified, python, shiny, bold, glossy, daring.
