These systems provide the most accurate server emulation on the market. It accurately emulates physical and technical behaviour of all major server products available. It predicts potential hot spots and cooling problems. Hotboxx exists to fill that gap between expensive and subjective software for data centre heat dissipation assessment and the simple but inaccurate employment of space heaters to simulate possible hot spot scenarios.
DCS INDUSTRY AWARD
Each year Angel likes to recognise a significant contribution to or outstanding achievement in the industry – this award is not voted for by the readers of the publications but based on the publisher’s and editorial staff’s opinions. This year the award was given to Professor Dennis Kehoe, who is the Chief Executive Officer of AIMES Grid Services Ltd based in Liverpool, where he was previously the Saxby Professor and Royal Academy of Engineering Research Professor at the University of Liverpool. He has specific interest in the creation of new high growth, high technology businesses emanating from cloud computing and is a non-executive director of a number of technology start-up and spin-out businesses created from the AIMES Centre at the University and was formerly a director of the North Liverpool Academy Trust and Chairman of the Board of Aerogistics Holdings Ltd. He is currently Chairman of Opticare Ltd and Chairman of Containerport Ltd and has led a number of major research and development projects funded by the UK Government and the EU.
