The 2011 to 2012 period saw Six Degrees Group continue to make significant investments in its in-house datacentres both for colocation and in building its own cloud platform. Their Studley campus consists of two datacentres. The south building is the older, built to N+ 1 specification with two data floors. The north datacentre is tier 4 aligned and built to N+N specifications with three data floors.

Founded in 2009 as the sister company to Vtesse, Vtesse Cirrus provides state-of-the-art data centre hosting services at its newly built 30,000-sq-ft Tier III+ facility in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, within easy commute of London at only 34km from the City and 51km from Docklands. Designed from the ground up to provide highly secure, ultra-reliable web and application hosting – as well as supporting both private and public cloud services – the facility serves a wide range of customers.
UKFast launched MyCloudStack to the market in the summer of 2011 after a year in development. Its route to fruition followed many of UKFast’s products before, by keeping in touch with our clients, consistently listening to their feedback and aiming to meet their ever-evolving needs. Differentiating itself from current cloud offerings, MyCloudStack bridges the gap between high end expensive private cloud solutions and SMEs budget constraints.
