yworth Boilers runs a programme of Combustion Engineering Association (CEA) accredited boiler
operator training courses designed especially for anyone responsible for the operation and care of steam and hot water boilers. There is a choice of courses including a 2 day Introduction to Boiler Operation and 4 day BOAS course which leads to a formal qualification and incorporates an assessment fee which makes it very competitively priced. There is also a Manager`s course and Design of Steam Systems course. All courses are updated in line with the new HSE BGO1 guidance, they incorporate a mix of practical and classroom work and on-site courses tailored to suit customer needs can be arranged.

capacity are just some of the reasons why ensuring the accuracy of measuring instrumentation is afforded so much importance within the manufacturing industry. Indeed, calibration can provide a number of benefits for manufacturers, as well as ensure the safety of both employees and consumers alike. However,
calibration methods are typically associated with production downtime and high costs. This can lead to instances of manufacturers prioritising calibration for some measuring instrumentation at the expense of those which are considered to be less essential. But the risk of neglecting calibration can lead to even greater costs being incurred. Applied Weighing’s
HydraCal direct force calibration system allows for a
weighing vessel or silo to be fully calibrated in the fraction of the time taken using traditional flowmeter or weighbridge calibration methods, thereby minimising production downtime and generating significant cost savings. Their revolutionary, proven technique can be carried out easily on any weigh vessel with suitable jacking points fitted at each load cell location. There are two methods that can be used depending on the suitability and type of the vessel; reverse calibration and force calibration.

escribed as “an impressive feat if design ingenuity”, the Mini Bendi is ideally suited to the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Considered an industry first, the truck offers superior levels of safety and functionality. Designed to operate effortlessly in aisles as small as 1600mm, the Mini Bendi’s innovative pedestrian control ensures the operator is completely in charge of the equipment at all times. With its standard 220˚ load rotation, operators have unobstructed visibility of the forks and load at all times offering a much safer operation than conventional solutions, ideal for operating in and around production areas. The large, soft wheels of the Mini Bendi allow safe travel
over yards or roads, enabling deliveries to be unloaded and placed straight into storage or at the production areas.
