There’s a familiar brand at the top of the iPad chart, with EA’s FIFA 12at the top. The game benefitted from a price cut last week.
Glancing at the Steam charts and Arma IIis still the No.1 game. The game is benefitting from the success of a zombie game modification called DayZ. According to the mod’s developers, there are now 500,000 users and climbing, with 10,000 new downloads happening every day.
Arma IIwas also part of the Steam summer sale, which has had a big impact on the charts this week. Max Payne 3, Skyrim, Portal 2, Modern Warfare 3, Left 4 Dead 2, Bethesda Collectionand Saints Row: The Third all had their prices reduced this week.
The only new game to break into the Steam Top Ten is the Anno 2070 Collectionfrom UBISOFT, which debuts at No.8
