TV ads will form the bulk of the campaign, targeting housewives and children around relevant programming. This part of the campaign will run for three weeks, starting on Monday, July 23rd.

Nintendo has arranged search activity and high impact online ads that will appear around the game’s release. Again, these will target mothers and female gamers.

The platform holder is planning to partner with high profile artists to promote New Art Academy. These professionals will create new lessons which will be made available to 3DS owners via the handheld’s SpotPass automatic downloads.


OTHER


New Art Academyarrives on the same day as the revamped 3DS XL, which features a screen that’s 90 per cent bigger than that of the original 3DS. Expect the game to benefit from the wave of interest in the new SKU.
