On Tuesday 6 March, ILTM Asia Exhibition Director, Alison Gilmore and Buyer Account Manager, Monique de Beer hosted a unique evening of networking in the heart of Tokyo. This event bought together Tokyo’s luxury travel elite to network and socialise in one of Japan’s most luxurious settings – the Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo.


The event began with a presentation and ‘sharing of experiences’ by a series of influential people from the Japanese luxury travel industry: Ms Melanie Foo-Tiplady, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Mandarin Oriental, Mr Tsuyoshi Saiki, Luxury Bespoke Travel Designer, Nippon Travel Agency and Mr Tomoyuki Iwashita, Manager Public Relations, Travel Journal. Special guest Mr Gota Otaka, of the Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry officially toasted the opening of the networking reception.


Guests then were able to enjoy time networking with their luxury travel peers over a selection of drinks and canapés.
