DESTINATION


The most powerful and sophisticated icebreakers are used to reach this incredible destination and the Poseidon vessel is equipped with a helicopter and a fleet of Zodiacs for shore transfers and landings. The ship’s team includes polar experts (in marine biology, climate, ornithology, glaciology and history); evening lectures allow guests to immerse themselves in the surrounding nature. For the total comfort of their guests, on board there is also a fitness coach, expedition artist, musician, physiotherapist and a chef to create daily gastronomic feasts.


Polar bears, seals and numerous walruses may venture close to the icebreaker and passengers may also see Polar foxes, belugas and whales. Poseidon Arctic Voyages consider their greatest responsibility is to work with their guests to communicate the importance of preserving the Polar ice cap and Arctic habitat for the benefit of these indigenous wildlife as well as future generations.
