Berchtesgaden is an ideal destination for young travellers and families, but also for sports enthusiasts and lovers of culture.

Les Auberges de Jeunesse gets a makeover!

Tis year, after several month’s consideration, Les Auberges de Jeunesse ASBL (the Belgian Youth Hostel Association) was rebranded in order to keep with the times and continue to offer quality services. For the Belgian association, 2011 has been synonymous with major changes. Indeed, the brand of the association (and the hostels) has been redesigned, rejuvenated

and re-aligned with the times. “We worked by going back to

our roots, so looking at the mission and values of the association, with the aim of building a coherent global strategy, in line with our beliefs,” explained Caroline Raedemaeker, Marketing and Communication Manager. A new logo has been created; unique, younger and aligned with the different values advocated by the non-profit organisation, it will be featured on all communication media. A new website has also been launched, which is more dynamic and user-friendly. What’s more, there are also

Insulation fitted in Bouillon and Namur, solar panels installed in Liège and Malmedy, boiler replacements in Champlon and Tournai - these are just some of the initiatives already carried out as part of the project. In just a few weeks, the upgrades to the Namur Youth Hostel will be finalised.
