Reliance Foundry Wins Calgary Memorial Contract Reliance Foundry Co. Ltd., Sur-
rey, B.C., Canada, has been selected to supply the cast ductile iron bol- lards that will protect the pedestrian pathway in the newly renovated Calgary Central Memorial Park. “Tis was a great project because
of what it meant to the city,” said Brad Done, vice president of Reli- ance Foundry. “Te City of Calgary has done a beautiful job with bring- ing honor to the Veterans.” Bollards are rigid posts used by municipalities to ensure perimeter
security, control and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic, or add to archi- tectural appeal. Te Reliance bollards are part of a recent $11.5 million revitalization project for the Calgary Central Memorial Park. In addition to bollards, Reliance
Foundry provides a variety of ferrous and nonferrous castings, including cart wheels, marine products and bike parking products.
