driven by the ‘Compliments of Bermuda Sale’ offering $500 discount off every five nights booked. The offer is accumulative and can be combined with the hotels’ own free-night offers. It is valid for bookings made by April 15, for stays before May 6. The Bermuda Department of
Tourism has also recently launched a free iPhone App, which enables users to easily search, browse and find Bermuda’s hotels, beaches, popular activities, sightseeing locations, golf courses, shops, restaurants, nightlife and more.

Kenyan beach initiative
The Kenya Wildlife Service has launched a Beach Management Programme (

The initiative covers the 12km stretch of beaches between Mombasa Island and Serena and covers guest safety and security, enhancing beach ecology, protection of the environment; cleanliness and lifeguard training. The programme will be extended to other beaches shortly.
