Mansouri was questioned and said he had been on vacation in the United States since July and had broken off a brief sexual relationship with Sariol just hours before his flight. She had also left threatening messages on his Facebook page.
29 SEPTEMBER: LISBON
A British Airways flight was evacuated after a woman falsely accused her husband and in-laws, who were travelling on the flight, of having a bomb in their baggage.
5 OCTOBER: JAKARTA A Garuda Indonesia flight en route from Manado to Jakarta was the subject of a bomb threat.
10 OCTOBER: DILLINGHAM, ALASKA A Pen Air flight from Anchorage to Dillingham made an emergency landing at Dillingham Airport after a bomb threat was received.
21 OCTOBER: DURBAN A woman was arrested at King Shaka International Airport for claiming that she had a bomb in her bag as she checked-in for a Kulula flight to Johannesburg.
23 OCTOBER: SHARJAH Parts of Sharjah Airport were evacuated following a telephone threat claiming that there was a bomb left in a suitcase at an unspecified location in the building.
26 OCTOBER: LONDON Cabin crew of a South African Airways flight en route from Cape Town to Heathrow found a bomb threat note in the toilets.
31 OCTOBER: SYDNEY A 49-year-old man called the Police and made a bomb threat against Sydney Airport. He was arrested in Newcastle 20 minutes later, allegedly assaulting the arresting officers in the process.
4 NOVEMBER: BEIJING A passenger on board a China Airlines flight preparing to depart for Taipei claimed that he had a bomb in his baggage.
8 NOVEMBER: FLORIDA
Soraya Billinge, 36, became so frustrated about her husband working night shifts at Southwest International Airport that she called in a bomb threat that she would blow up 10 planes.
24 NOVEMBER: NEPAL
An anonymous caller claimed in a text message that a bomb had been planted on board an Agni Air aircraft. Two non specific SMS messages were received by the airline’s reservation staff, and led to the grounding of six aircraft at Bhadrapur and Kathmandu.
30 NOVEMBER: BRISBANE Kieran France Pineaha, 19, was turned away from his Bali-bound flight and allegedly threatened to blow up the plane unless he was allowed on.
