7 OCTOBER: ZAGREB A Germanwings flight en route from Cologne to Belgrade diverted to Zagreb as a result of a disruptive passenger incident.
8 OCTOBER: KELOWNA, CANADA A passenger was removed from a WestJet flight en route to Vancouver, due to his behaviour at Kelowna, being an unscheduled landing due to weather conditions, as he was claiming that someone had either taken his money or he had lost it; he refused to be seated.
9 OCTOBER: BERMUDA A JetBlue flight en route to New York returned to LF Wade International Airport due to a woman’s disruptive behaviour on board.
12 OCTOBER: GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA A 54-year-old man was removed from a Jetstar flight set to depart for Sydney due to his threatening behaviour.
13 OCTOBER: JIAYUGUAN, CHINA A China United Airlines flight en route from Beijing to Urumqi diverted to Jiayuguan when a 27-year-old female passenger claimed there was a bomb on board and she would blow the aircraft up.
13 OCTOBER: DENVER An American Airlines flight en route from New York to Los Angeles diverted when an intoxicated passenger became increasingly disruptive, shouting threats and kicking seat backs, and eventually hitting a flight attendant in the face.
13 OCTOBER: ATLANTA
In yet another example of celebrity air misbehaviour, Whitney Houston was allegedly almost thrown off a Delta Airlines flight after refusing to fasten her seatbelt. She eventually agreed, although she left it to a steward to fasten the belt.
19 OCTOBER: HONOLULU A man was restrained on a US Airways flight en route from Phoenix to Honolulu when he suffered a panic attack and tried to get out of the aircraft. He then removed his shirt and, when challenged by police officers on board, asked them to shoot him.
23 OCTOBER: LAS VEGAS A 60-year-old man caused his Delta flight to return to Las Vegas when he attempted to open the emergency exit.

18 OCTOBER: AZORES A Condor flight en route from Frankfurt to Punta Cana diverted to Lajes in the Azores when a drunken Russian passenger became disruptive.
18 OCTOBER: AMARILLO, TEXAS Ali Reza Shahsavari, 29, caused the crew of a Southwest Airlines flight en route from Los Angeles to Kansas City to divert to Amarillo due to his unruly behaviour and shouting of obscenities.
25 OCTOBER: WINNIPEG Byron Pinksen, 41, was arrested when his Air Canada flight diverted to Winnipeg. He was charged with damaging or interfering with a navigation facility, causing a disturbance, uttering threats, mischief endangering life, interference with a crew member and consuming liquor not provided by the airline.
28 OCTOBER: ISLAMABAD
Qadeer Jalaluddin, Rafiq Mustafa and Adeel, were arrested on their arrival off a Pakistan Airways flight from the UK for allegedly using abusive language towards a flight attendant.
29 OCTOBER: ALBUQUERQUE Laurence Pena, 34, was denied boarding a Southwest Airlines flight due to his drunken behaviour. He then allegedly assaulted the arresting officer.
1 NOVEMBER: DELHI 19 OCTOBER: CAIRO
The leader of the British Liberal Democrat Party, Nick Clegg, was verbally assaulted on a British Airways flight from London to Cairo by an Egyptian woman who was angry at his party preventing the scrapping of the Human Rights Act.
Irfan Sheikh was allegedly drunk on board a Jet Airways flight preparing to depart for Lucknow. In an intoxicated state, he became abusive when crew told him to turn his phone off for departure. He was off-loaded.
2 NOVEMBER: ISTANBUL
A passenger became disruptive on a Korean Airlines flight en route from Seoul to Istanbul when the crew prevented him from lighting a cigarette. He allegedly then physically attacked the crew which reportedly resulted in the Captain ordering that he be subdued using an electro-shock device.
2 NOVEMBER: ISTANBUL A 57-year-old intoxicated woman caused the crew of a Turkish Airlines flight en route from Istanbul to Stockholm to elect to return to Istanbul. She is alleged to have tried to open the door of the aircraft when it reached cruising altitude over Bulgaria.
2 NOVEMBER: BACOLOD-SILAY, PHILIPPINES
Gorswak Singh, 52, was arrested on arrival at the Bacolod-Silay airport after he sexually harassed a 24-year- old female passenger while on board a flight from Manila. He is alleged to have touched the breast and legs of the passenger while pretending he was asleep.
