MORE THAN A CATALOG sensors and detectors nir foreign bodies to be measured

Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced its G10768-1024d InGaas linear image sensors and the new c10854 multichannel detector head to measure foreign bodies in the near infrared range of 800nm to 1700nm. The G10768 device features 1024 individual InGaas photodiode pixels, combined with a low noise cmOS trans-impedance amplifi er and multi-plexor readout circuit, to simplify operation. In addition a selectable feedback capacitance is available allowing choice of on-chip gain to increase dynamic range. When used with the new c10854 multichannel

detector head, the G10768 becomes a very powerful tool. The c10854 allows easy operation of the G10768, offering a high-speed readout,

newport has announced the 1830-r optical power meter that is a drop-in replacement for the company’s legacy 1830-c meter. The 1830-r’s dc power measurements can be easily viewed in the seven-segment, backlit Led display. units of W, dbm, db and relative measurement can be displayed in the 4.5 digit wide-angle view. a wide dynamic range is provided with power sensitivities up to 10pW and full scale readings up to 2W (detector

andor offers vacuum uV, euV, X-ray and gamma ray cameras

andor Technology has announced the availability of its new comprehensive high energy detection portofi lo. andor’s range of camera detection solutions span the vacuum ultraviolet (uV), extreme uV, soft X-ray, hard X-ray and gamma energy ranges. These detectors use either direct detection of incoming high energy photons or

university laboratories offered miniature linear positioning stages

aerotech’s new mPS75SL series miniature linear positioning stages are now available in four travel ranges from 25mm to 100mm. aimed at university laboratories and research and development centres that require precision alignment, the stages’ 75mm width and low-profi le design is optimised for the latest generation of miniature 1mm pitch precision ballscrews, high resolution encoders and anti- creep crossed roller bearings. The mPS75SL series is also available with

aerotech’s Halar linear error-corrected certifi ed precision. While standard products’ precision is +/- 4 microns, Halar’s accuracy is +/-1.5 microns for the 100mm travel version. It also has a bi- directional repeatability of +/- 0.75 microns. The stages can also come with brushed dc

motor or open loop stepper motors both of which offer a linear positioning resolution to 0.1 microns. www.aerotech.co.uk
