Well defined beams promised by israel’s holo/or
Holo/Or innovation has improved the performance of its Homogenizer diffuser product line. These diffusers are designed to generate a well- defined beam shape, square or round or any other, whichever the user chooses. The beams would also have a statistically uniform intensity profile. The diffusers can work with either Sm or mm laser beams. but incoherent mode overlap will increase the output’s homogeneity, making the Homogenizer product a solution for homogenised multimode beams. For Sm lasers, the top-hat product line
remains a solution for absolute pixel-to-pixel beam uniformity. The Homogenizer series can be designed for a large range of diffusion angles and for any wavelength in the ultraviolet 10.6μm spectrum. Other features include high damage threshold and high tolerance to misalignment and input beam quality.

Waveplates for 3μm to 9μm wavelengths launched
edmund Optics has introduced its new mid-Wave Infrared (mWIr) and Long-Wave Infrared (LWIr) waveplates. These waveplates are designed for a wide variety of infrared (Ir) applications in the 3μm to 9μm wavelength range. When compared with multiple order waveplates, zero order mWIr and LWIr waveplates provide increased bandwidth and lower sensitivity to temperature change. Ideally suited for a variety of Ir applications,
the mWIr and LWIr waveplates are available with ¼λ or ½λ retardance over a range of wavelengths from 3μm to 9μm. each mWIr and LWIr waveplate has an anti-reflection coating and has been mounted for ease of alignment and
Motorised mirrors reach less accessible places
Owis’ flip mirror holders KSH(m) 25, KSH(m) 40 and KSH(m) 65 can now be used in all orientations. To reach a beam reflection of 90° the arm of the mirror holder flips into the beam at a 45° angle. depending on the version it flips either to the right or to the left. For optimal results the optics on the wobble plate can be

allow improved control ‘even in less accessible places’ using the Owis TTL controller nG-e02. For easier integration into beam handling systems the mirror holders KSH(m) 25, KSH(m) 40 and KSH(m) 65 also have a single type of pin mounting method.
