What’s it all about?

Can’t decide between a week on the Med and the canoe descent of the Ardèche River? Do them both and include a day of multi activities as well! Spend two days descending the dramatic Ardèche Gorge, the most fantastic open boating river in Europe, returning to base each night and one day at the centre taking part in some of the activities on offer. Then three days on the Med to relax and give the watersports a go. Sometimes you will go to the Med fi rst and then the Ardèche - either way it’s guaranteed to be an action-packed week.

What’s it like?

Domaine de Segries in the Ardèche is one of our favourite centres, set in spacious wooded grounds. There’s an outdoor swimming pool, volleyball court, and a high ropes course as well as a disco and a sheltered outdoor dining area overlooking the grounds. Accommodation may be indoors in the large stone farmhouse or in tents in the grounds. Please note you will need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.

Our Med Centre, Mimosa, near Valras Plage, is also exclusive to PGL and opens directly onto the long uncrowded beach. There’s a dining marquee, games area, shower/toilet block, shop and our disco that caters exclusively for 300 other PGL party goers, so if you want a safe and lively night life, this is the place for you. Accommodation is in tents.

“The week is one I will remember for a long time. I met loads of people and instructors, which were all friendly and in good spirit. PGL was probably the best solo holiday I have ever been on.”
