What’s it all about?


Mad about horses? Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced rider, we’ve the perfect adventure holiday for you! You’ll meet your horse, then help with grooming and looking after him (or her!). As well as learning horse riding skills, our instructors will ensure you know how to care for your horse and tack.


What can I do?


At Boreatton Park the emphasis will mainly be on school-based riding and instruction in the excellent facilities of our specialist riding schools. At Little Canada and Tregoyd House there will be off-site trekking.


Can I do other activities as well?


At Boreatton Park and Little Canada, you can enjoy different activities from our brilliant multi activity programme. For the really horse mad, our holidays at Tregoyd House simply include pony trekking and caring for your horse. Every night, all our centres provide a full programme of evening entertainment.

Do I need any riding experience? Boreatton Park and Little Canada are for those with little or no riding experience. The holidays at Tregoyd House require more experience, and you should be confi dent enough to canter across an open fi eld. When you arrive, you’ll join a small group of other riders with the same level of experience.


Do I have to travel from the centre to the stables?


Our stables are just a short walk or coach ride from our centres.


Do I need any specialist equipment? We’ll provide all the specialist equipment you need, but you must bring a pair of shoes or boots with a heel. We’ll send you a full kit list before you travel. You can bring your own jockey skullcap, but this must conform to BSI safety standards.
