ST.SIMONS ISLAND / SAVANNAH TRADITIONS Tour Jekyll Island’s 240-acre historic district by tram car, visiting Faith Chapel and Rockefeller’s Indian Mound; drive to nearby St. Simons Island, and continue to Savannah where your hotel, Hyatt Regency Savannah, overlooks the waterfront and is close to River Front Plaza. Tonight, discover Savannah’s Madeira traditions at the Davenport House Museum, and dine in the historic district at 45 Bistro in Savannah’s oldest hotel, The Marshall House. Meals BLD
3. DISCOVER HISTORIC SAVANNAH A private tour of the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace precedes a visit to the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, chronicling the great Atlantic trading era. Sightsee Savannah, home to America’s largest landmark district (over 1,000 restored buildings) with a local expert, then spend the afternoon and evening as you please. Meals B
4. FORT PULASKI / HILTON HEAD Visit Fort Pulaski National Monument, where military history was forever changed during a Civil War battle. Spend the night on Hilton Head Island; Hilton Oceanfront Resort is right on the seafront.
