3. NATURAL NEW ORLEANS & JAZZHERITAGE Learn about New Orleans’ unique geological environment at a presentation by an environmental expert. Meet with volunteers and community organizers on a Tauck Exclusive field trip to the Lower Ninth Ward, making a remarkable post-Katrina recovery. 4. ACADIANA AT VERMILIONVILLE ON THE BAYOU Head out along the Mississippi to “Cajun Country” for a private “Bal de Maison” house party with a home-style porch lunch, Acadian music, storytelling and fun. Step back in time on a guided visit to Vermilionville, recreating Acadian and Creole life circa 1765 to 1890.
