By the time you read this October issue of sportEX medicine we will have launched (much to everyone’s relief I suspect!) our brand new

webshop. This is long overdue but with a small core team, it has quite an impact on workload!

In conjunction with our new webshop, we have also launched a new way to access our online content. As you know, we’ve been experimenting with embedding interactivity into the sportEX journals in the form of videos and animations and soon we’ll be incorporating CPD quizzes also. In my mind there’s not yet a publishing platform available, which can accommodate where I want to take the sportEX, so this is a good solution until I find one!

This platform allows us to incorporate the interactivity and the practical ‘bringing to life’ aspects of our articles, which we hope bring added value to you as a subscriber. It also represents a much more attractive and usable solution with much better search functionality across our whole archive. You can also print any pages you wish. This new online content can be found under the Online Access section of our new site (www.sportex.net) where there is also a video explaining how to use the new service.

I very much hope you enjoy these developments. Tor Davies, publisher tor@sportex.net
