South Africa gets the Kimora touch Always flying the flag for ‘mumpreneurs’, Kimora Lee Simmons was

recently in South Africa to launch a line of T-shirts, raising funds for the Nelson Mandela Foundation. Looking fabulous as ever, she was spotted by Osworld’s African Beat looking at jewellery and various accessories at a local boutique. The gorgeous mother of three is married to Beninese-American actor and model Djimon Hounson.

It was a fashion-tastic night at Fashiongivesback 2011 held at BMW Synter in Leicester, UK, where scores of fashionistas came out to help raise money for Zimbabwe’s forgotten children. Hosted by the award-winning Zimbabwean dancehall ambassador, Jusa Dementor, and journalist/motivational speaker Carol Nyazika, the sophisticated night of glamour and class featured alluring designs from various talented African designers alongside designers from John Lewis. Money raised on the night went to The True Vision Foundation and The Zimbabwe Benefit Foundation whose belief is, “send a child to school, educate them for life”.
