Working with Service Users
Our service commitment is to provide high quality support services for care and supported living, at home and in the community. Our mission is to deliver outcomes prioritised in the White Paper ‘Our Health, Our Care, Our Say.’
Firstly, this includes ensuring that Service Users are central to the Care Plan and the care programme we deliver. Our services are responsive to the care user’s needs and choices day-to-day. It is a holistic approach that meets medical, care and social goals, including the patient’s rights to interventions that respect the needs for dignity, self-esteem and independence wherever possible.
Secondly, our goal is to understand and provide support for those with complex needs. The care programme must meet all specific medical objectives and targets, with qualified and experienced staff to support in the full spectrum of treatments, employing the equipment, medication programmes and therapies specified by the medical professionals, and agreed in the Care Plan.
Thirdly, we prioritise safe health and social care in the home and community. Safety is the priority, taking full account of risks that might arise and necessary actions that may be required
