Medical conditions with which we deal
Ambition 24direct can provide support programmes with specialist nursing staff for a wide range of complex care conditions and illnesses. These can include spinal and brain injury, as well as physical and learning disability and mental health issues.
For personal care, where specialist nursing is not required, support is provided by a care assistant (HCA) who is trained to assist with bathing and dressing and other non-medical tasks. This might be where a patient is restricted because of age or infirmity, perhaps following an illness or discharge from hospital.
If help is needed with getting up in the morning or preparing for bed, for example, Ambition 24direct can provide support at set times of the day or night - or 24 hours a day, around the clock as required. Our care assistants help with all essential tasks and activities to help the Service User to live at home as comfortably and safely as possible.
All our staff are interviewed and assessed by Ambition 24direct to meet relevant UK social and healthcare standards
Conditions for which we provide specialist nursing support and personal care include:
• Cerebral Palsy • Huntington’s Chorea • Motor Neurone Disease • Multiple Sclerosis • Parkinson’s Disease
