The onset of Autumn means the start of a new academic year, and I would like to wish all students, whether you’re entering the world of beauty for the first time or you’re an established therapist embarking on the path of post-graduate education, the very best of luck.
The importance of learning cannot be underestimated, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is key in our industry. You can never learn too much, so whenever there’s an opportunity to refresh your skills you should grab it with both hands. A new or improved skill is a great addition to your CV and a willingness to learn makes a great impression on an employer. And apart from that, embarking on a new course or perfecting your skills can be a lot of fun, enabling you to mix with like- minded therapists who can inspire and encourage.
