Worldwide provider of Spa services Steiner Leisure Ltd has announced an 11.5% increase in revenues for the second quarter of 2011.
Revenues stood at $168.4 million from $151.0 million during the comparable quarter in 2010. Net income for the second quarter was $13.2 million compared with $10.0 million for the same quarter in 2010.
The company’s operations include shipboard and land-based Spas and
salons, providing services on 155 cruise ships and 69 land-based Spas which include Resort Spas, Urban Hotel Spas and Day Spas and are operated under the Elemis®, Mandara®, Chavana®, Bliss® and Remede® brands. Steiner Leisure also run training over 17 campuses worldwide, offering degree and non- degree programmes in massage therapy and skin care.

Facilities will include the fi ve-acre Spa Botánico, which aims to provide a holistic approach to beauty and wellness inspired by traditional local remedies.
The Spa will offer men’s and women’s private relaxation rooms, glass walled Spa treatment pavilions, two ‘treehouse’ treatment platforms, and purification gardens.
Organic Spa products made from native plants grown on-site will be used, while a beauty salon will also be available to offer manicures and pedicures.

New nails at Champneys
Champneys have launched Calgel into their Spas.
