SHOWCASE Turbo-charged design

Speeding down the track now is the next generation of sports chronographs, led by the new C700 Grande Rapide, which takes its design cues from the iconic motorsports model, the C7 Rapide.

An automatic chronograph, the superbly constructed 42mm C700 uses a decorated elabore version of the Sellita SW500 as its power source. It is the first Christopher Ward watch to use a carbon- fibre dial, further enhancing its motorsports credentials. Available in leather, rubber and steel bracelet versions,

the C700 Grande Rapide is available from £799 at christopherward.co.uk

Improving THE SERVICE Responding to requests from owners of its watches, from this autumn

Christopher Ward is offering a watch servicing programme under its CW 360° banner for both mechanical and quartz models. Prices start at just £75 for the comprehensive service of a mechanical analogue watch. Christopher Ward knows that most watch servicing is typically very expensive,

inconsistent in quality - and extremely slow. This is totally at odds with the company’s own ethos. Its service programme, like its watches, will offer premium quality and consistent performance at an accessible price.
