Billy Joel’s heartfelt and affectionate analysis of the female character may well have been in the mind of the Christopher Ward team when they started the process of extending their women’s offer. Since its inception in 2005, the company has designed and produced fine women’s watches at sensible prices, but there has been an understandable perception that it is a men’s watch brand.
The phrase “she’s ahead of her time” is the most appropriate for the CW approach. They wanted the new collection to appeal to women who want more than just a device that tells the time. Like its men’s watches, Christopher Ward’s women’s watches are intrinsically attractive, made to a very high standard and have enough variety across the range to tempt customers to buy more than one.
