Building on the strong heritage Christopher Ward has in aviation watches, the company has introduced two new models, the C11 MSL Mk1 Automatic and C11 MSL Mk1 Chronograph.
Rather than a retro feel, this pair has a bold contemporary look inspired by the altimeter design of Concorde and modern fast jets. Based on a completely new case concept, both watches have museum-grade sapphire crystal covering the dials for acute visibility, resulting in an almost complete absence of glare.
The closed-back case is inscribed with

Mass appeal in Boston
We are guessing that very little tea was drunk when North American members of the Christopher Ward Forum gathered for a party in Boston on July 8. Well done to New Hampshire- based forum moderator Kip McEwen for bringing together Christopher Ward fans from both sides of the longest international border in the world.

Unitas unites the Forum
The independent Christopher Ward Forum has selected a Unitas 6498-1 hand-winding movement to power its third bespoke design limited edition watch. This is the first time that Christopher Ward has used this celebrated ETA movement. As usual, Forum members were involved in the creation of the watch from start to first, ably guided by the Christopher Ward design team. Forum moderator Kip McEwan remarked: “We are thrilled at once again being involved in the development of a new watch, and through a democratic process have produced a brilliant limited edition.” The special timepieces will be delivered to Forum members in Autumn 2011.
