ccuStream has introduced what it claims to be the industry’s first customisable waterjet cutting The wide range of adapter configurations
available makes it easy to use the Dialine cutting head with any type of waterjet system.
It is
available in the UK from exclusive UK agent Wightman Stewart. Dialine offers users the facility for customisation to meet specific operational needs and to operate seamlessly with any waterjet cutting system at peak performance.
Users can customise
the Dialine’s abrasive body, the inlet for cutting abrasive feed line lines and the nozzle. There is then a choice of standard or swivel adapters, diamond or ruby orifices and thimble filters for added protection. Abrasive bodies are available in 0.281, 0.300 or 0.281 or dual inlet versions. The new adapter head connections provide the facility to rotate the abrasive inlet, placement.

celebrating excellence in innovation,
protection and collaboration. The awards recognize and showcase ideas, methods, technologies, applications, products and services using Kevlar® in a new way.
Manufacturers and innovators of products containing Kevlar®
located in Europe, Central Europe, Middle East, and South Africa are eligible to enter. Entries will be judged on a set of criteria based on excellence in the categories of Innovation, Protection and Collaboration. A panel of experts will determine the winners, who will be recognized at an awards ceremony in autumn 2011. Entries must be received by September 15, 2011. Designed to facilitate lower electricity costs through improved efficiency and a lower charging factor, Life IQ chargers are fully programmable. Life IQ HF chargers have a real-time clock which allows charging operations to be programmed exactly to take account of off-peak electricity tariffs. Equalisation charge can be started when convenient and real dates programmed for each event. A full range of single and 3 phase models is available. Wireless communication between the charger and battery is enabled by a WI-IQ battery monitor fitted to the main DC cable of the battery. Information on charge, temperature and voltage can be uploaded wirelessly to a PC for data analysis. A USB port is positioned on the front panel of the Life IQ charger for data upload and download.

SICK launches compact optical level switch
ICK (UK) has added to its industrial instrumentation product portfolio with a new compact optical level sensor switch for aqueous fluids. Designed for robust level monitoring of a range of liquid media, the FDA-compliant MHF15 is ideal for a variety of applications, including tank level monitoring or dry running protection for pumps. The cost-effective plug-and-play solution, which requires no calibration and minimal maintenance, can be used for overfill protection and low level indication in tanks to monitor the presence or absence of liquids.

closed transistor output is provided for use as an input to control PLCs or relay modules. Due to its compact design, the MHF15 is ideal for difficult installations or conditions with limited space. Featuring a robust and highly resistant stainless steel housing and polysulfone apex the switch meets IP67 and IP69K standards, ensuring protection from dust, dirt and water; even during a caustic washdown routine. Ease of mounting and sealing of the vessel is assured due to use of a standard G1/2” process connection complete with NBR seal.

New Low-Cost ICP® Accelerometer
CB Piezotronics Ltd has released a new Model HT602D01 low-cost, high-temperature, ICP® accelerometer for vibration measurements in extended temperature environments. Designed to operate to +163°C this accelerometer retains the simplicity of ICP® power at elevated temperatures. The HT602D01 uses the popular through bolt, low- profile design for installation flexibility and a 2-Pin MIL-C-501 side-exit connector. With the benefit of shear mode design, this model has a nominal sensitivity of 100 mV/g (10.2 mV/(m/s²) and a frequency range of 0.5 to 8000 Hz (30 to 480,000 cpm).
