Record-breaking BeautyUK attracts the crowds

This year’s BeautyUK exhibition was a phenomenal success, attracting the event’s largest attendance ever in its five-year history.

TheMidlands’ only professional beauty exhibition, held on Sunday 8th andMonday 9thMay, saw record- breaking visitor numbers of 20,692 trade visitors over the two days, cementing the show as amust-attend exhibition in the UK beauty calendar.

“The Guild Press teamare thrilled about the success of this year’s BeautyUK show, which proves that the UK beauty industry is regainingmomentumafter a difficult number of years,” says Show Director Gary Hackett.

“I personally amso pleased for the exhibitors who have supported BeautyUK over the years - it was fantastic to see and hear of their success over the two-days and I amvery grateful for their involvement inmaking the event the triumph that it was. Somany companies have already rebooked their stand positions for 2012 that I amconfident that we can better our achievements at next year’s show.

“We understand that to achieve a busy and profitable event for exhibitors, we need to invest heavily in pre- show promotion, a philosophy which has paid dividends this year. Therefore, this strategy will not change for 2012 - we will spend evenmore on directmail, print advertising and emailmarketing, and will be introducing new initiatives tomaximise attendance once again.”
