LaCherie launches in Glasgow
A new salon has opened in Glasgow offering customers a ‘no appointment required’ system.
Customers can turn up for their beauty treatment at La Cherie, House of Beauty, at a time convenient to
them.Treatments range fromSpa pedicures, tanning, threading, teeth whitening,Microdermabrasion and IPL, plus hair services.
La Cheriemanageress SaadyaMohan says: “The beauty of offering such a broad range of products and services under the one roof on a no appointment basis is that customers no longer have to try to co-ordinate appointments with a beautician at one location, another appointment at a hair stylist and yet another appointment elsewhere for hair removal, waxing or skin rejuvenation. Instead, they can now receive all these services andmuchmore at La Cherie.”
Winning salon app
The firmbehind the Safety Smart Salon app has been awarded the inaugural ‘Innovation in Safety - small business award’ by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in conjunction with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
Manchester-based Safety Smart created the SalonApp to enable salons to develop a better health and safety culture, with all staff having access to accurate and up-to-date health and safety advice on their iPhone, iPad and iTouch platforms.
John Holden IOSH Immediate Past President, added: “The winner stood out forme because it was piece of technology young people would use. Young people we know are particularly at risk in the workplace, so anything that gets themon board in the workplace has got to be a plus.”

The family run company has been a customer for one year and during this time has purchased a variety of Carlton Professional Electrotherapy equipment including UltraPro Complex, Peel Professional, Lift Professional and ColourTherapy units.
Dr Baatar attended two days of training with one ofThe Carlton Group’sTrainers,Angie Sawicki. During the training in Lancing, Dr Baatar familiarised herself with a variety of Facial Electrotherapy andMicrodermabrasion techniques using Carlton Professionalmachines.
