Stylish Surroundings for newiiaa TrainingCentre
A striking Grade II listed building on the outskirts of Leeds is the new home for the International Institute forAnti-Ageing’s northern England training centre.
The iiaa now holds its training courses for Environ, Jane Iredale andAdvanced Nutrition Programme in a newly refurbished office suite inMorwick Hall.
The building is surrounded by landscaped grounds, with a tranquil setting that includes a courtyard and recreation areas.
Head of training, ClareMuir, says: “We’re delighted with ourmove to this new location. It provides everything we need to run our courses effectively and a peaceful environment for trainees to work in.”

Apprenticeships accreditations tightened
The government is to tighten up the way that Apprenticeships in England andWales are accredited and certificated.
Themove comes with the onset of theApprenticeship, Skills, Children and LearningAct (which was implemented on the 6thApril 2011), which will see minimumstandards forApprenticeship frameworks set down in law tomeet the new Specification for Apprenticeship Standards for England andWales.
Alan Goldsbro, Habia Chief Executive, said: “Whilst the government requirementsmake sense in terms of tightening up the quality assurance and integrity of Apprenticeships tomeet the new legislation, there is clearly going to be a knock on cost to training providers in particular.”

Students fromNorthampton College recently raised £175 for a local breast cancer charity,The Crazy Hats Appeal.
The students, who are working towards theVTCT Level 3 Diploma in ComplementaryTherapies, performedmini head massages and hand reflexology treatments in the Grosvenor shopping centre in Northampton, asking their clients tomake a donation to the charity.
