Over 600 industry insiders have voted to choose the 25 winners of the coveted CEW(UK) 2011 Beauty Awards, sponsored by Superdrug.


CEW(UK) President, Caroline Neville, said: “The awards were established to recognise innovation in the beauty industry and are highly significant. Having third party endorsement from CEWadds authenticity to the product.

The presentation took place at The InterContinental London Park Lane, and was attended by 450 beauty industry professionals. Awards were presented to ‘Mass Categories’ and ‘Premium Catagories’which featured Estée Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex as Best New Skincare Treatment Product, Eve Lom - Cleanser as Best Classic Beauty Product, Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare as Best British Brand, and Elizabeth Arden - Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant as Best Iconic Beauty Product.


A post-awards winner’s party was held at the COMO Hotels and Resort’s Met Bar, London.

Professional and retail self-tanning range Crazy Angel have literally flown off the shelves since its introduction into the UK.


“In just a fewmonths, the growth in UK sales has beenmuch higher than expectations and sales continue to increasedmonth-on-month,” says distributor Kerri Roberts.


Butmore unexpectedly is the International success CrazyAngel has experienced, now landing in Dubai, Spain, Norway and Ireland. Kerri says: “We have only exhibited at two trade shows since the launch of CrazyAngel but the success to date has been incredible and is testament to the product formulations, packaging design and overall branding... plus a lot of hard teamwork!”
