ChromogenexTechnologies Ltd have been given a £1.49million injection to support its rapid growth following a record 149%increase in year-on-year exports.


The Llanelli-based firmwill use the £1.2million structured debt and equity investment fromFinanceWales and £290,000 fromtheWelshAssembly Government tomeet increased demand and expand into emerging newmarkets.


The increased demand follows the company achieving a number of new regulatory approvals in Brazil, India,Australia, Canada, South Korea and the United States.The company’s laser and light technology systems are used in cosmetic treatments, such as hair reduction / removal, skin rejuvenation and non-invasive liposuction procedures as well as to treat acne and vascular lesions.


Roland Denning has also been recently introduced as the company’s new Chairman.

Colchester salonAlison Byrne Health&Beauty has raised over £430 for gynaecological cancer research charityThe EveAppeal by holding aTea Party.


Salon ownerAlison Byrne explains: “Together with staff fromThe Dental Practice we sold teas, coffee, cakes and raffle tickets and taster treatments and raised a total sumof £432.


“Local supermarketWaitrose donated a large sumthat helped us purchase refreshments and cakes. Clients and staff (and their husbands) baked and donated cakes and cookies. Shelley, our Jessica rep, came along and supported us too.We all had a lot of fun, the weather was gorgeous and we all enjoyed raisingmoney for this charity.”


Totally UK Ltd previously worked for 15 years in partnership with BodyWrap Supplies, the official UCWdistribute for Eire, but now the decision has beenmade for Totally UK to work direct with salons and Spas, bypassing the intermediate distributor and offering salons the very best service and price.
