of shopping related challenges to win a large spending spree.The women must impress a panel of rivals as well as one of Turkey’s most famous fashion designers for the chance to win the prize. Global Agency chief executive Izzet Pinto


says:“Women are crazy for shopping and this format has all the elements to make it an international success.” Cineflix has acquired the English-language


rights for the US,UK,Canada and Australia, while Nordisk has picked up the Swedish


rights and Greek broadcaster Mega TV has also optioned the format.“I think it will start in September or October,”adds Pinto. Global Agency will be selling the format alongside local drama Magnificent Century, which tells the story of the Ottoman Empire and has been one of the most controversial series to air in the country.The drama,which is also one of the most expensive Turkish pro- ductions to date with a US$3.5 million budg- et,is produced by Tims Productions for Show TV and is set to air in 19 territories.
