multiplexing point-to-point products. With a network bandwidth of 50Gbit/s, MediorNet Compact provides enough capacity for bi-directional transport of 12 HD-SDI signals, dozens of MADI streams or GBit-Ethernet signals and hundreds of audio channels or intercom ports – ideal for streamlining the infrastructure of any mobile, studio or live event application. Anhui Radio and TV Center upgrades

ONE OF the largest and most advanced TV theatres in Asia, at the Anhui Radio and Television Center, was recently outfitted with a Studer Vista 9 and two Soundcraft Vi6 digital consoles. Advanced Communication Equipment

(ACE) supplied the two-level auditorium, which is capable of hosting 3,200 guests in a total of 4,300 square metres, with the new consoles. The Center uses its Vista 9 in the broadcast area and the two Vi6 consoles as live sound and mix boards. The three mixers can work independently or as backups for each other, ensuring a reliable system. “Keeping our system functional and safe is our number one priority, so having the capability of a redundant system keeps our productions online at all times,” explained Li Guangyun, senior engineer at Anhui TV Production Center. “Selecting the perfect equipment is a large task that we take very seriously,” he continued. “The Studer and Soundcraft consoles have proved to be the perfect systems for our needs. They’re very convenient to operate and more importantly, offer a great sound.” > soundcraft.com
