Intersan offers lead free products

Phoenix — intersan Manufacturing now has lead free products available. This unique offering provides the wash fountain and lavatory market with a much-needed alternative to the available industry products. With this certification, intersan’s

lead free option will enable installers to meet the standards AB 1953 and S.0152 set by the governmental authorities of Cali- fornia and Vermont, which set the acceptable lead content of wetted surface area to .25%. “We are excited to offer our lead free certified products to an eagerly awaiting marketplace.

With the recently signed federal legislation and the current California and Vermont laws requir- ing lead levels to be below one quarter of 1%, we know specifiers will be looking for a manufacturer to have a solution to this growing environmental concern,” said Wim hoornaert, general manager at intersan Manufacturing. “When the CDC released its study showing that lead levels had a connection to developmental learning

problems in children, we knew that intersan had to do something about it.” Visit www.intersanUS.com.
