Kevin O’Halloran - Director of Development, Paramount Theater Foundation. Kevin has been involved with The Paramount since 2005, when he joined the board of the Paramount Theater Foundation. In May 2010 he accepted the new position of Director of Development with the Paramount Theater Foundation. His goals are to increase annual support, retire the mortgage on the theater, and begin building an endowment. A native of New York state, Kevin holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard and a graduate degree from the University of Virginia. He has lived in Charlottesville for 20 years and has worked with a number of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations both as a board member and in a professional capacity.


Matthew Simon - Box Office Manager. Matthew has been a resident of Charlottesville since 1977. He is a graduate of Emory and Henry with a Bachelor


of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. He came to The Paramount with a very strong love for music. He worked at MusicToday for six years as a ticketing agent for over 100 bands, including the Dave Matthews Band, The Rolling Stones, Phish, Britney Spears, Wilco, and Radiohead to name a few. He also hosts a radio show on the local radio station WTJU 91.1 FM on Monday nights. Matthew brings his passion and experience with great honor to provide a smoothly run Box Office.


Cathy von Storch - Education Co-ordinator. Cathy has been a resident of Charlottesville since 1987. She worked in International Education at the University


of Virginia and in the private sector for 15 years, during which time she earned a Masters in Education at UVA. Cathy has been an active volunteer in the local school system while raising her three children, and volunteered with Community Children’s Theatre for a decade. That is where she developed her passion for education in the arts and is most happy to be sharing that passion as Education Coordinator at The Paramount Theater!


Jason Williams - Facilities Manager. Jason Williams came to the Paramount Theater from the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville VA after serving as the


Operations Supervisor during its first year of operation. He was part of the JPJ Arena staff that won the coveted PollStar Award of Best New Arena of 2006. He has also worked in operations and events management at the New Haven Arena in CT, the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport Ct, and the Greensboro Coliseum in NC. He has had the pleasure to work on shows such as U2, The Dave Matthews Band, Herbie Handcock, and Taj Mahal. Jason resides in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife Wendy and two daughters, Ivy and Alex.
