ParadeRest Since 2009, the Board of Directors of The


Paramount, working with the American Red Cross, Blue Star Families of Virginia, and Research Strategies Network, has provided free tickets to an assortment of performances to active-duty military, recent veterans and their families. The Paramount has generously provided tickets to shows that have included children’s programs, classical music concerts, country music and rock. This diverse group of programs have included Harold and the


Purple Crayon, David Cook, The Robert Cray Band, Rickie Lee Jones, the Oak Ridge Boys, Emanuel Ax, Of Mice and Men, Rhonda Vincent and the Seldom Scene, and the Canadian Brass, The Band of the Irish Guards and Complexions Ballet.


The ParadeRest program is a way that the central Virginia community has chosen to show its gratitude for the commitment and sacrifice of military personnel and their families.
