Technology; and taught in the Albemarle County school system. As a professional harmonica player, Gary has been enlisted as a session player for artists’ recording projects, radio, and television and toured and performed on such stages as Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium, Philadelphia Folk Festival, Norfolk Scope and others. A winner at the 1987 World Harmonica Championships in Great Britain, he continues to perform and record, but his main focus today is his other passion - live event audio system design and engineering. Gary has been working both sides of the microphone for over 30 years and believes the Paramount stage is among the best anywhere.
Tami Keaveny - Marketing Manager. Tami Keaveny has worked for more than 20 years in live event marketing. She began her career with legendary concert
promotion company Bill Graham Presents in San Francisco. She has worked at BASS/
Tickets.com where she served as regional marketing manager for Northern California In 1999, she relocated Virginia for a job with Cellar Door Concerts/ ClearChannel Entertainment (now LiveNation) as the Director of Marketing for the Virginia Beach Amphitheater. After getting married and taking time off for her two children, she moved to Charlottesville, VA and returned to concert promoting with Red Light Management’s concert division Starr Hill Presents. She joined the staff of the Paramount Theater in May of 2010. She enjoys music, books, food, wine, laughter and spending time with her two children and chef husband, when he is not cooking at their Italian restaurant “tavola”.
Angela Kennedy - Staff Accountant. Angela moved from abroad and settled in the Charlottesville area in 1992. She jump started her career in accounting as
an Account Service Rep. at Equity One in 2001. In 2004, she accepted the role as an Accounting Manager with Park Properties.
Before taking on the position
of Staff Accountant at the Paramount, Angela worked as the Senior Accountant at PBM Products. Angela thoroughly enjoys her work and looks forward to a bright future at the Paramount. Lastly and most importantly, Angela is a proud mother or three girls-Anneliese, Madison, and Camryn.
Liz Loewenstein - Development Associate. Liz came to the Paramount just weeks after graduating from the University of Virginia, where she earned a
degree in Spanish Literature and a minor in French in three years. Before coming to the Paramount, Liz participated in various internships both here and abroad (at Albemarle magazine and at a small publishing company based in Valencia, Spain, where she studied for a year). As a lifelong resident of Charlottesville and a lover of the arts (Liz has been in various operas, plays, choirs, and film clubs), the Paramount seemed like a perfect fit for this recent graduate.
