YAMAHA YSS-82ZR CUSTOM Z
SAXOPHONE £TBC They say: The long-awaited YSS-82Z and YSS-82ZR Custom Z soprano saxophones are here. For: Saxophonists Range: Yamaha saxes Spec: Yamaha's Z series saxophones have become a modern classic and are used by leading professional players worldwide. Their strong, clear sound and excellent playability have set new standards in pro model saxophones.
The Z series represents the next step in the evolution of the custom series of
“ Yamaha instruments.
Unveiled at the NAMM Show, the YSS-82Z and YSS-82ZR feature a one-piece neck through bell design. The Z series soprano
saxophones offer extremely accurate intonation along with comfortable response. With a direct and powerful
sound, the Z series represents the next step in the evolution of the custom series of Yamaha instruments. The lower vent tubing design reduces noise on lower vent key action and a revised rib plate provides a solid feel while enhancing resonance. Key designs have been made more comfortable and ergonomic, while the new bullet tip adjustment screw design allows for optimal maintenance and the hand-engraved style enhances the beauty of these instruments further. All Yamaha
saxophones feature an adjustable thumb rest to allow for precise and comfortable hand and fingering position. The YSS-82ZR Custom Z soprano saxophone is available in silver (YSS-82ZRS), black lacquer (YSS- 82ZRB) and unlacquered (YSS- 82ZRU). Both the YSS-82Z and YSS-82ZR are due to ship in May this year.
